Merry Christmas to Us!

Michael and I have been trying for almost 3 years to get pregnant. We had one miscarriage in June of 2007 and even though it was hard, we both know it was for the best. So we kept trying and kept trying to have another one and it just didnt happen. Finally, I talked Michael into trying a fertility medicine. My doctor put me on Clomid back in October. Even though the Clomid was working and I was ovulating like I was supposed too, the first cycle was a bust. It didnt work. So we tried it again. This time, instead of counting the cycle days like we were supposed too, we just had fun. Last Wednesday night I woke up in the middle of the night with awful indegestion. I NEVER get indegestion. I didnt want to get my hopes up just yet though. So I waited and I waited and the more I waited the more I knew. So, yesterday morning I took a HPT....and sure enough....it was POSITIVE!!!! We have been so excited that we cant keep our mouths shut. Almost all of our friends and family know!!!! Because of my history the doctor wants to see me for my first appointment at 6 weeks. I will be 6 weeks on Christmas day so my first appointment is Tuesday, December 30th at 3:00. I am hoping to have an ultra sound then, but who knows. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I have sworn off worrying this time so Im going to let all of ya'll do that for me.
